OK guys, remember the umpire's email is superapple4800@hotmail.com not the liquidator06@gmail.com one, that's for sign-ups and general questions only.

The following is dictated via the umpire...

Areas of conflict:

Edwards v. Raymond: James Edwards and Spencer Raymond have been suspended from play since the incident on Monday. Spencer in turn got himself out after the fact (cause's he's an idiot) so James is the only one suspended in that particular situation. It should be noted that James, like any suspended player, should not be making any kills as he is suspended. If he takes part in an attack he is vulnerable and may be outted, but he himself may not make any kills. If someone wages an attack on him James may not kill or be killed. In essence as long as he stays neutral he is safe, pending the ruling. Also it should be noted that Spencer must produce the weapon for inspection by the end of Thursday or James shall be re-admitted into the game without consequence.

Bringing us to the next big dispute:

Micossi v. Edwards: Amanda was hit by James while James was on the offensive under suspension. Thus the hit is null and void and Amanda is still in the game.

Other questions

No one may use force to restrain another player. By "no one" we mean those playing in the game and anyone even remotely connected with those playing in the game. Should a kill be prevented due to physical restraint, the kill shall count. Should a kill be committed due to physical restraint, the kill shall not count.

Armor: As long as it is not designed as an article of clothing it is permissible, presuming it entirely blocks all water the wearer is safe. Armor may be removed, even using physical force, so long as the force is not restraining the one with the armor on.

School Bus: On the bus you are safe, there is no buffer zone around a bus, you must be completely inside the bus to be safe. You cannot liquidate while on a bus.
ex1) Someone on the bus can't get someone walking on.
ex2) Someone on the stairs of the bus with the door open that gets hit by someone outside the bus is out.
ex3) Somone on the bus cannot shoot out a window at someone not on the bus.

That's all for now.

Good luck.

I have officially closed entries to the third round, if you haven't submitted your info you cannot play. We hope to have a list of the two teams up on here and sent out to everyone by tomorrow afternoon. The idea is that everyone will be able to meet up with their team sometime Monday evening and chat about such things as:
  • Team name
  • Identifying colors, phrases, etc.
  • Prime targets
  • Team defense
  • General strategy
The organization of these meetings will be left up to the team itself, but I should warn you that if you fail to host this initial meeting you risk putting yourself at a great disadvantage. Also, I believe that this game will inspire a spirit of community among teammates. I hope that you all meet new people, or become better acquainted with those who you barely know. It is in this way that the game will grow to become a better and stronger entity, and in the end be a lot more fun.

Here is a list of all of the players:

-Adam Lobb
-Alex Fulton
-Alex Madden
-Alex Melcher
-Amanda Micossi
-Brandon Collier
-Bryan Evans
-Charlie Olson
-David Jolivet
-Devin Monaghan
-Erika Levison
-Farbodd Ganjifard
-Hayley Luhr
-Jackson Voelkel
-Jacob Thomas-Low
-Jake Banning
-James Edwards
-Jamie Fordyce
-Jerrod Engleberg
-Jessica Kremer
-Jonny Steinberg
-Jordan Brown
-Julius Monello
-Kaitlyn Barclay
-Kevin Carlton
-Krysten Carlsen
-Leslie Byerly
-Lisa Carrigg
-Maksim Dobioglo
-Peter Conerly
-Scott Archer
-Spencer Raymond
-Tom Conerly
-Vanessa Lampson

Yep, 34, too bad it wasn't 36, or maybe we could play with 3 teams. Oh well, let's save that for another round.

Good luck to all.

Two Teams:

Rules

Sign-Up/Questions: liquidator06@gmail.com (Scott Archer)

Umpire Email: superapple4800@hotmail.com (Devin Gaffney)

Daily Blog: http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/

Given: Two teams;

· Unite your team

· Systematically destroy the other team

· Protect your team

Ground Rules:

· All decisions made by the Umpire are final.

· You are “out” if you are dampened by your unknown opponent with H2O.

· Once a player is “out” both parties must report the “out” by email to liquidator.umpire@yahoo.com ASAP. Any complaints that the “out” player might have should be filed at this time.

· You may not get your “assignment” “out” in the designated “safe zones.”

· If the “assignment” hits you (outside a “safe zone”) before you hit them, they are safe until the next day begins (for the purposes of this game every day begins at 12:00:00 AM).

· There are no rules against contacting your “assignment.”

Leadership:

  • Early on a team leader should be chosen by some means, most likely by a pluralistic majority vote.
  • Each team leader should note the second bullet under the below “miscellaneous” section and register with blogspot.com to gain blog access.
  • It will be the team leader’s responsibility to inform everyone of the specifics of any successful attacks, after the fact, via the blog. Of course any information needed to be kept secret is not necessary to post.
  • This responsibility may be transferred at any time, but does not necessarily have to be even if said leader gets out.

Safe Zones:

· Everything that is considered part of the school campus you currently, as well as a 100 yard buffer area around each campus.

· The “assignment’s” place of business if applicable, as well as a 100 yard buffer area around that.

· Churches/places of worship and their grounds. (Assuming that the “assignment” is attending a service/function, they cannot run onto said property and be proclaimed safe.)

· Sporting events of which the “assignment” is a part of (on the team, or must attend for some other reason) no matter if it is on a school campus or not. Thus, spectators are not safe, except from the athletes they have come to support (spectators can get each other “out” but spectators cannot get athletes “out” or vice versa, athletes can never get each other out.)

Note: The “school campus” rule might also still apply.

· Medical facilities (assuming the “assignment” has an appointment/is in need of treatment, emergency or otherwise.)

· Mutual agreements can made between any number of parties and must be honored with honesty and integrity (don’t set your friend up). However, they are only safe for the parties that made the agreement, should an outside party intrude they do not have to honor the mutual agreement. This means:

1. If you arrange a meeting of any kind with someone (a player, henchman, or civilian) on the condition that they have no knowledge of anyone planning on liquidating them, they are hereby required to tell you the truth. Should they lie you are protected from any attack that they knew about at the last time you asked them.

2. Most treachery or trickery similar to that listed above is illegal and will not be honored as valid liquidations. If you are unsure consult the umpire with specifics. (A good example of something that will no longer be allowed is the case of Hoter v. Archer, 2006.)

· Your own and any team mate’s residence is a safe zone noting these exceptions:

1. Anything outside the walls of an actual house is never safe.

2. If you are in pursuit and go inside a home you are not safe and your pursuer may follow you inside.

3. If a member of the household has allowed you into the house (either knowing or not knowing your targeting someone inside the home) or made prior arrangements to allow you in (left a door unlocked, window open, etc.) with the specific intention of allowing your entry.

Legal Arms:

· Water guns of all sizes*

· Water filled balloons

· Buckets of water*

· Hoses*

· Water Bottles*

· Any other apparatus that expels H2O*

*Only the H2O inside these may be used against (touch) the “assignment” (no pistol whipping).

Miscellaneous:

· Information pertaining to game such as; who got “out,” who got them “out,” or any other information will be updated daily at http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/. This information will be more general and thus will lack the need of privacy provided by email.

· If you wish to have posting access at the blog (http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/) email liquidator06@gmail.com with your blogspot.com account user name and we will give you posting capabilities. You will maintain this privilege so long as you do not abuse it.

It is important to realize that the spirit of the rules are more important then the rules themselves. Bear in mind it is only a game, and the ultimate goal is safe harmless fun. If an issue does arise the Umpire’s word will obviously be considered final.

Important: Communication will be conducted mainly through email, thus it is important that you continually check your email to learn of all game developments. If you do not respond to email in a timely manor the Umpire reserves the right to disqualify you.

All questions should be submitted to liquidator06@gmail.com or http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/. Inquiries affecting the play of the game should be submitted to superapple4800@hotmail.com.

If anyone has any questions about how "two teams" Liquidators will work please direct them here.

Devin Gaffney will again serve as umpire, I appreciate the hard work he has, and continues to, put into the game.

Sunday, May 21, 2006

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Barclay the, Liquidator: Round Two, Champion.

I will be sending emails about round 3 soon. It should start around the 29th of May. As always have people email me for sign-up sheets.

Saturday, May 20, 2006

No kills today.

Heads up; Scott Archer and Kayley Dorsa time out tomorrow at 11:59:59 PM.

This would leave Kaitlyn Barclay the winner.

I believe the next round will begin May 29th 12:00:00 AM and run to June 9th 11:59:59 PM. Yes, just 12 days for 2 teams to go head to head in a battle royal.

Thursday, May 18, 2006

Again, no casualties today, surprise surprise.

There was more people against the everyone has everyone idea then I thought there would be. I still think its a rockin idea, but I guess we'll pull a Churchill and try to appease all of you.

Idea #2:

2 Teams.

You start out assigned to a team. Everyone on your team is your ally, everyone on the other team is your enemy. You get team members out just like normal Liquidators, and all other rules apply. Once a team member is out they cannot take any one else out, but they can still aid and assist their remaining teammates. Your team can vote you out with a simple majority, this is to ensure no one tries to sabotage your own team. I really hope no one would do that, but just in case, you can vote those commie traitors out.

YOU WOULD NOT GET TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN TEAMS.

I believe Devin would still act as umpire, unless he decides otherwise.

Do we feel better about this option?

Wednesday, May 17, 2006

No kills today, but that is not to say it was boring by any means. A 3 way stand off, or should I say a 1 against 2 way stand off took place outside Kaitlyn's house. Apparently alliances were needed this round, so Kaitlyn has agreed to not liquidate Kayley in hopes of defeating Scott, so in the end sex, or possibly skill, might be the deciding factor in this race for victory.

Good luck to all, especially me.

Tuesday, May 16, 2006

The Terrific Three, so yeah, in a matter of day's round 2 will be over, brining up a point I had never thought to consider. We definitely would be able to have a round 3, and we will. Here's how it will work;

Everyone will be sent an email with everyone's info attached. You may go after anyone, anyone may go after you. If you get hit, you are not out of the game. I think that bears repeating, if you are hit, you are NOT out of the game. How does one win? I have decided specifically yet, but we will probably have 3 categories for winners.

1. The person who got the most kills. (The assassin Award)
2. The person who got hit the least. (The stealthily Award)
3. The person who got the highest combination of these scores, +1 for a kill, -1 for a hit. (The Overall Award)

The game will run until graduation, or until one person gets everyone playing.

Once you make a kill, that person cannot kill you back until midnight. Of course you cannot get points for getting the same person twice, but if you get them again, then they cannot get you until midnight.

All other rules apply.

Why? It solves a lot of problems the game has had these two rounds. It is impossible to keep secret who has who. If everyone has everyone, this becomes a non-issue. It gives more people opportunity at the win. Secrecy becomes an individual affair, and much easier to manage.

Also it creates some interesting scenarios. Picture, if you will, what would happen if two proposed assassins arrived at the same house at the same time. Instant showdown.

So yeah, I really think that's the best way to do it, at least once, before school's out and I leave forever. At that time I will probably pass the liquidation torch on to someone I believe will keep it going for as long as possible.

Yeah so now what you've all been waiting for:

Sunday, May 14, 2006

Just so everyone's clear:

If the person your after is outted due to a "time out" your time starts literally the second after they are out. So since a lot of people are timing out today, lets set up how it would go down.

Person A hasn't got anyone since the game began and on this Sunday (today) at 11:59:59 PM he will be out. Person B who was after Person A is now after Person C starting at 12:00:00 AM Monday and Person B's time will be up Saturday at 11:59:59 PM.

I hope that wasn't too confusing. Just remember add one second to the time of the kill, then starting on the current day of whenever that is count 6 days. So if its 2:33:02 PM on Friday, count from 2:33:03 PM; Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 11:59:59 PM you would be out assuming you didn't get anyone.

Pancakes, here's the kill count:

Liquidated:

5/9/06
-Jordan Brown liquidated by Kaitlyn Barclay
-Jonny Steinberg liquidated by Kaitlyn Barclay
-Helen Kehoe liquidated by Kaitlyn Barclay

5/10/06
-Devin Monaghan liquidated by Farbodd Ganjifard

-Farbodd Ganjifard liquidated by Kaitlyn Barclay
-Jessica Kremer liquidated by Kayley Dorsa

5/13/06
-Ian Kenny liquidated by Alex Fulton
-Maksim Dobrioglo liquidated by Scott Archer

5/14/06

-Laurie Fullmer TIME VIOLATION
-Sean Friar TIME VIOLATION
-Spencer Raymond TIME VIOLATION

Active:
-Alex Fulton
-Jacob Thomas-Low
-Kaitlyn Barclay
-Kayley Dorsa
-Scott Archer

*Note*
-The ruling on a dispute between A. Fulton and A. Melcher has been made. Melcher shot Fulton in his house after Jake let Melcher inside. Before hand Fulton and Jake had made a truce, thus a mutual agreement. Jake violated this agreement when he later unlocked the door Fulton had locked and allowed Melcher to enter. Thus Melcher is out due to a time violation and Fulton is as he was prior to the occurrence.
-Also, I would like to mention as of today Kaitlyn Barclay has tied the record for total liquidations (5) set last game by Claire Koechlein.

Good luck to the remaining 5.

Strange but true fact:

Under extreme paranoia the sound of a small bird flying out of a nearby bush sounds a lot like a stream of water heading your way.

Also, everyone I've talked to is under the impression that Jesse Kremer was Liquidated, and as there's been no talk of disputes, I'm listing her as such. This brings up the importance of BOTH the attacker and attacked submitting emails/phone calls to the umpire within a reasonable time period. Also this is when disputes by the attacked need to be submitted.

So I had an exciting day Wednesday, and by exciting I mean scary. So while I was on the hunt for Sam I realized that I needed more information about him if I was ever going to get him. So what do I decide to do? Now keep in mind I'm an absolute idiot. That's right, I went to Lakeridge, a place where 1/4 of the people playing could have seen me and got me at any time and I couldn't do anything about it because for them it would be a safe zone. So yeah, that was dumb, moving on.

I get there I park in the student section, hoping that someone would lead me to his car, but no one's in the parking lot, so I walk towards the school. It is when I am about 100 ft. from the main entrance I see a fellow liquidator (I won't say who for their benefit) pull up and park less than 25 ft. from me. The oddest part was they seemed to be talking on a cell phone AND something else... I here the words "I'm here," or possibly, "he's here," either way I start freaking out. I hasten my step and go through the entrance, at the same time chancing a glance over my shoulder. He is matching my pace, but I'm not sure if he's following me. To find out I take the first right into their counseling office and again look back. He follows me exactly. I speed up. I become frantic, looking for some way out of the hall of the office. I see one of those personal bathrooms, I open the door and immediately lock it behind me. Suddenly I realized what a foolish mistake I had made, I was completely and utterly trapped. I began to feel very claustrophobic, and I even started to sweat. I didn't want it to end like this, not on the second day. After about 10 min. (trying out various combinations of turning on and off the lights and checking under the door for feet) I realize I have to do something, I have to move, I cannot stay trapped inside this bathroom forever.

So, using the door as a shield, I open it towards, me so I am in between the door and the rear wall. What is perfect is that there is a mirror opposite me, so I can actually see through the 1 in. gap of the open door and the door frame. No one was there. Risking it all I open the door 1/2 way, still no movement in the mirror. I open the door all the way, notice a door to outside on the other side of the hall (if I had only looked right and saw the door instead of left, I would have been safely outside 10 min. ago) so I bolt across the hall, through the commons, jump about a 10' drop to behind the school, and start booking it to my car. After I make sure no one is around my car I start running towards it, when I'm about 10 ft. away I hit the unlock button and seconds later I jumped in and locked the door behind me.

I'm pretty sure that 25 min. period was the scariest of my entire life.

Now, on to the important stuff.

This round:

I would like to make the suggestion to everyone participating in this round to use greater digression in alerting others to who you have or any other knowledge you may have obtained. Last game it got a little out of hand and before 1/2 of the players were liquidated some people knew exactly who everyone else had. It is rarely an advantage to you to allow others to know who your target is. Also, after my and others' experiences from last round, I have decided that it is much more exciting finding these things out by yourself and relying on your own information rather than that of others.

Anywho, here's the updated list...

Remember a 6 day time limit now applies, and anyone who does not liquidate within this time frame is as good as liquidated.

· You are “out” if you are dampened by your unknown opponent with H2O.

· Once a player is “out” both parties must report the “out” by email to liquidator.umpire@yahoo.com ASAP. Any complaints that the “out” player might have should be filed at this time.

· A player is also “out” if they have not gotten their “assignment” “out” in a 6 day period (their assignment will be given to whoever was targeting said player).

· You may not get your “assignment” “out” in the designated “safe zones.”

· If the “assignment” hits you (outside a “safe zone”) before you hit them, they are safe until the next day begins (for the purposes of this game every day begins at 12 AM).

· There are no rules against contacting your “assignment.”

Note: The “school campus” rule might also apply.

· Your residence is a safe zone noting these exceptions:

1. Anything outside the walls of your actual house is never safe.

2. If you are in pursuit and go inside your home you are not safe and your pursuer may follow you inside.

3. If a member of the household has allowed you into the house (either knowing or not knowing your targeting someone inside the home) or made prior arrangements to allow you in (left a door unlocked, window open, etc.) with the specific intention of allowing your entry.

Legal Arms:

· Water guns of all sizes*

· Water filled balloons*

· Buckets of water

· Hoses*

· Water Bottles*

· Any other apparatus that expels H2O*

*Only the H2O inside these may be used against (touch) the “assignment” (no pistol whipping).
