Carlsen v. Engelberg et. al.

Krysten and Jerrod made a mutual agreement to go see a play together and that neither one of them would inform their team mates to conspire against them. Scott Archer called several people on his team to organize a team meeting. After calling Jerrod, Scott learned that Jerrod was planning on allowing Krysten to out him. Then Scott called Adam Lobb and learned that he was going to attend the same play. Scott informed Adam that Krysten would be there and he should make an attempt to get her out as Jerrod was giving himself up. One must bare in mind all this is happening under the mutual agreement made by Jerrod and Krysten, also that at the time the agreement was made Jerrod obviously had no idea Adam would be there. Also one must bear in mind a single team mate cannot make an agreement for the entire team, mutual agreements are always made directly, never through another party.

So, after, the agreement was made Jerrod may have learned of Adam's plans, but this bears no influence upon the agreement. Needless to say at the play Adam was sucuessful in outting Krysten.

Thus, Krysten is out.

Now, why Krysten was shooting at Jerrod under an agreement raises an interesting question. However, both Jerrod and Krysten have claimed that they made an agreement earlier that day at school.

So, in accordance with the rules, Jerrod remains in the game.

At this point I would like both teams to realize one cannot manipulate the rules for any reason. Even if you believe both teams will benefit, the stated rules are static for each round. The umpire may institute more specific rulings, but everything will be based upon the rules.

OK guys, remember the umpire's email is superapple4800@hotmail.com not the liquidator06@gmail.com one, that's for sign-ups and general questions only.

The following is dictated via the umpire...

Areas of conflict:

Edwards v. Raymond: James Edwards and Spencer Raymond have been suspended from play since the incident on Monday. Spencer in turn got himself out after the fact (cause's he's an idiot) so James is the only one suspended in that particular situation. It should be noted that James, like any suspended player, should not be making any kills as he is suspended. If he takes part in an attack he is vulnerable and may be outted, but he himself may not make any kills. If someone wages an attack on him James may not kill or be killed. In essence as long as he stays neutral he is safe, pending the ruling. Also it should be noted that Spencer must produce the weapon for inspection by the end of Thursday or James shall be re-admitted into the game without consequence.

Bringing us to the next big dispute:

Micossi v. Edwards: Amanda was hit by James while James was on the offensive under suspension. Thus the hit is null and void and Amanda is still in the game.

Other questions

No one may use force to restrain another player. By "no one" we mean those playing in the game and anyone even remotely connected with those playing in the game. Should a kill be prevented due to physical restraint, the kill shall count. Should a kill be committed due to physical restraint, the kill shall not count.

Armor: As long as it is not designed as an article of clothing it is permissible, presuming it entirely blocks all water the wearer is safe. Armor may be removed, even using physical force, so long as the force is not restraining the one with the armor on.

School Bus: On the bus you are safe, there is no buffer zone around a bus, you must be completely inside the bus to be safe. You cannot liquidate while on a bus.
ex1) Someone on the bus can't get someone walking on.
ex2) Someone on the stairs of the bus with the door open that gets hit by someone outside the bus is out.
ex3) Somone on the bus cannot shoot out a window at someone not on the bus.

That's all for now.

Good luck.

I have officially closed entries to the third round, if you haven't submitted your info you cannot play. We hope to have a list of the two teams up on here and sent out to everyone by tomorrow afternoon. The idea is that everyone will be able to meet up with their team sometime Monday evening and chat about such things as:
  • Team name
  • Identifying colors, phrases, etc.
  • Prime targets
  • Team defense
  • General strategy
The organization of these meetings will be left up to the team itself, but I should warn you that if you fail to host this initial meeting you risk putting yourself at a great disadvantage. Also, I believe that this game will inspire a spirit of community among teammates. I hope that you all meet new people, or become better acquainted with those who you barely know. It is in this way that the game will grow to become a better and stronger entity, and in the end be a lot more fun.

Here is a list of all of the players:

-Adam Lobb
-Alex Fulton
-Alex Madden
-Alex Melcher
-Amanda Micossi
-Brandon Collier
-Bryan Evans
-Charlie Olson
-David Jolivet
-Devin Monaghan
-Erika Levison
-Farbodd Ganjifard
-Hayley Luhr
-Jackson Voelkel
-Jacob Thomas-Low
-Jake Banning
-James Edwards
-Jamie Fordyce

-Kevin Carlton
-Krysten Carlsen
-Leslie Byerly
-Lisa Carrigg
-Maksim Dobioglo
-Peter Conerly
-Scott Archer
-Spencer Raymond
-Tom Conerly
-Vanessa Lampson

Yep, 34, too bad it wasn't 36, or maybe we could play with 3 teams. Oh well, let's save that for another round.

Good luck to all.

Two Teams:

Rules

Sign-Up/Questions: liquidator06@gmail.com (Scott Archer)

Umpire Email: superapple4800@hotmail.com (Devin Gaffney)

Daily Blog: http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/

Given: Two teams;

· Unite your team

· Systematically destroy the other team

· Protect your team

Ground Rules:

· All decisions made by the Umpire are final.

· You are “out” if you are dampened by your unknown opponent with H2O.

· Once a player is “out” both parties must report the “out” by email to liquidator.umpire@yahoo.com ASAP. Any complaints that the “out” player might have should be filed at this time.

· You may not get your “assignment” “out” in the designated “safe zones.”

· If the “assignment” hits you (outside a “safe zone”) before you hit them, they are safe until the next day begins (for the purposes of this game every day begins at 12:00:00 AM).

· There are no rules against contacting your “assignment.”

Leadership:

  • Early on a team leader should be chosen by some means, most likely by a pluralistic majority vote.
  • Each team leader should note the second bullet under the below “miscellaneous” section and register with blogspot.com to gain blog access.
  • It will be the team leader’s responsibility to inform everyone of the specifics of any successful attacks, after the fact, via the blog. Of course any information needed to be kept secret is not necessary to post.
  • This responsibility may be transferred at any time, but does not necessarily have to be even if said leader gets out.

Safe Zones:

· Everything that is considered part of the school campus you currently, as well as a 100 yard buffer area around each campus.

· The “assignment’s” place of business if applicable, as well as a 100 yard buffer area around that.

· Churches/places of worship and their grounds. (Assuming that the “assignment” is attending a service/function, they cannot run onto said property and be proclaimed safe.)

· Sporting events of which the “assignment” is a part of (on the team, or must attend for some other reason) no matter if it is on a school campus or not. Thus, spectators are not safe, except from the athletes they have come to support (spectators can get each other “out” but spectators cannot get athletes “out” or vice versa, athletes can never get each other out.)

Note: The “school campus” rule might also still apply.

· Medical facilities (assuming the “assignment” has an appointment/is in need of treatment, emergency or otherwise.)

· Mutual agreements can made between any number of parties and must be honored with honesty and integrity (don’t set your friend up). However, they are only safe for the parties that made the agreement, should an outside party intrude they do not have to honor the mutual agreement. This means:

1. If you arrange a meeting of any kind with someone (a player, henchman, or civilian) on the condition that they have no knowledge of anyone planning on liquidating them, they are hereby required to tell you the truth. Should they lie you are protected from any attack that they knew about at the last time you asked them.

2. Most treachery or trickery similar to that listed above is illegal and will not be honored as valid liquidations. If you are unsure consult the umpire with specifics. (A good example of something that will no longer be allowed is the case of Hoter v. Archer, 2006.)

· Your own and any team mate’s residence is a safe zone noting these exceptions:

1. Anything outside the walls of an actual house is never safe.

2. If you are in pursuit and go inside a home you are not safe and your pursuer may follow you inside.

3. If a member of the household has allowed you into the house (either knowing or not knowing your targeting someone inside the home) or made prior arrangements to allow you in (left a door unlocked, window open, etc.) with the specific intention of allowing your entry.

Legal Arms:

· Water guns of all sizes*

· Water filled balloons

· Buckets of water*

· Hoses*

· Water Bottles*

· Any other apparatus that expels H2O*

*Only the H2O inside these may be used against (touch) the “assignment” (no pistol whipping).

Miscellaneous:

· Information pertaining to game such as; who got “out,” who got them “out,” or any other information will be updated daily at http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/. This information will be more general and thus will lack the need of privacy provided by email.

· If you wish to have posting access at the blog (http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/) email liquidator06@gmail.com with your blogspot.com account user name and we will give you posting capabilities. You will maintain this privilege so long as you do not abuse it.

It is important to realize that the spirit of the rules are more important then the rules themselves. Bear in mind it is only a game, and the ultimate goal is safe harmless fun. If an issue does arise the Umpire’s word will obviously be considered final.

Important: Communication will be conducted mainly through email, thus it is important that you continually check your email to learn of all game developments. If you do not respond to email in a timely manor the Umpire reserves the right to disqualify you.

All questions should be submitted to liquidator06@gmail.com or http://liquidator06.blogspot.com/. Inquiries affecting the play of the game should be submitted to superapple4800@hotmail.com.
